The Ouachita Valley Federal Credit Union Opens Branch

The Ouachita Valley Federal Credit Union opened the doors on its newest branch inside West Monroe High School. The Rebel Branch of the credit union is a completely functioning credit union and will be teamed with credit union professionals and students from the high school.
The credit union's very first branch, the Ouachita Parish Teachers Federal Credit Union, was founded in the high school and contracted in 1955. The credit union no longer had a location in the high school, but the planning of the latest branch has been in the works for some time.
The credit union is thrilled about the chance to teach all students about financial liability in the school's financial academy. Moreover, the credit union plans to carry on educating students at West Monroe High School and other area schools on the significance of sound money management.
